Our history and staff

FLY BY NIGHT was conceived in 1977 by our founder Ross Unger, performing its first wedding reception in March of 1978, becoming a full time business in 1981, and incorporating in 1989. Since 1989, FLY BY NIGHT has performed over 15,000 functions. With a consistant 97% success rating among those who returned our post-performance follow-up questionnaire, it is no wonder that more than 85% of our clients are repeat clients or clients referred to us by word-of-mouth.

At present, FLY BY NIGHT is home to nearly 20 disc jockeys, 6 technicians, and over 15 state-of-the-art sound systems to provide you with the quality of service you expect for your event. Our office staff includes our President, Larry Barnett ; CFO, Claire Unger; Account Executive, Ray Sampaga; Director of Operations, Glenn Schultz, and Operations Manager and Director of Marketing, Patrick Morris. We are fully-insured with LIABILITY and WORKER’S COMP protection while working at any facility.
